Health Care Career Camp
A four-day, hands-on summer camp for 8th - 12th graders. Students explore a range of career options and learn about important issues in health. The students interact with healthcare professionals and get a hands-on experience at area medical facilities.
Careers in Manufacturing
Working in partnership with the N.E. PA Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) we provide a one day experience which brings area manufacturers face to face with students to help them understand the benefits of careers in this key sector of the economy. 9th through 12th grade

Careers in Energy- Gas, Nuclear, Electric, Oil and Green (Solar & Wind)
Working in partnership with Cabot Oil & Gas and regional energy companies we provide a one day classroom presentation with businesses from these 5 sectors within the energy field. Students learn about the science and technology utilized as well as career opportunities available in this high growth field. The target audience is 9th grade.
Vehicular Career Day
One day experience where students get to see vehicles / mobile equipment and interact with professionals who utilize these vehicles in the course of their work. Examples are linemen, grader operators, police, well drillers, fuel delivery, home health professionals, etc. 5th grade
Business Person in the Classroom
One or two periods, local professionals, group discussions regarding career options with a career specialist. 4th -7th grade
Health-Care Career Day and Energy Career Day. Students interact face to face with a range of professionals from these sectors during this daylong event to learn what the careers are like and educational pathways for success. 9th thru 12th grades
Educator in the Workplace
The formats include one day or a week long program with visits to area employers in the manufacturing, energy, or healthcare sectors. Includes interactions with a range of employees at each business and discussions of work responsibilities, education requirements, opportunities for advancement, etc. For Teachers and Administrators. Act 48 credit can be granted.

Hospital Internship Program
Students visit the hospital for 2-3 hours seven times during the spring or fall semester. They focus on one key department at a time and get a department tour, meet the staff, learn about the work, and discuss educational requirements for success in the particular staff specialty.
